Our pages are static snapshots refreshed on a schedule, not a live feed. On release days the official figure appears on the agency site first; our page updates only after the next refresh. Preliminary figures are revised, and agencies sometimes reschedule releases.

Annualised rates, spreads, averages and rule-of-thumb readings (such as the Sahm-style gap) are our calculations from published data and are labelled as such. They are descriptive, not forecasts. See the methodology.
